We would like to inform you that the Medical University Library has extended the tests of the LibKey Nomad tool. This is a browser add-on that, after detecting an article, refers to a journal or database subscribed to by the library, and finds Open Access sources. The tool is visible as a small icon on the article page or in the lower corner of the browser window.
As the add-on’s manufacturer says, “LibKey Nomad automatically provides instant links to articles from journals your library subscribes to—and Open Access sources—connecting you to literature discovered on the Internet. LibKey Nomad works with your library to determine the fastest path to content across thousands of publishers and millions of articles. […] LibKey Nomad is a great complement to other research aids you may be using, such as BrowZine, EndNote Click, Lean Library, and others.”
To use the tool, install the “LibKey Nomad” extension in your chosen web browser. (Settings -> Extensions -> Download more -> search for “LibKey Nomad” -> after installing, the selection page for the University providing access to the tool will automatically appear, where you should search for “Lublin” and select the result “Library of Lublin Medical University”). The tests will last until the end of October.
