On April 24, Springer's open access publishing program resumed under a national license for 2026.
The pool of articles that can be published in open access in 2026 is 1,381.
The publisher does not provide for the possibility of retroactive activation of articles; only articles accepted for publication after the launch of the program may be covered by the program.
