During the sessions, we will present solutions, products, and their latest updates in an accessible way. We encourage you to share information about the training within the academic community.

Nursing practice: new EBSCO reference databases

These databases are excellent sources of information and practical guidance in nursing, healthcare, social work, occupational therapy, physical therapy, rehabilitation, and other related fields. During the training, we will review search options on two dedicated interfaces.

Getting Started with the EBSCO Platform – How to Effectively Search for Scientific Literature

This training is designed for new students who want to explore the capabilities of the EBSCOhost platform – one of the most important tools for searching scientific literature. During the training, we will demonstrate how to create targeted queries, use filters, and refine results to quickly find the articles and full-text publications they need. Participants will also learn how to save searches, use their personal folder, and effectively utilize the database in preparing term papers and research papers. The training is practical in nature, with examples that will facilitate their first independent searches.

EBSCOhost Passport – a browser extension that allows you to easily connect to library resources

EBSCOhost Passport is a browser extension for academic research that bridges the gap between libraries and the web. EBSCOhost Passport scans a website for DOIs and then checks whether the user has access to the article in one of EBSCOhost's subscription databases, through a subscription journal on the publisher's website, or through open access.
