How-to videos in the CINAHL Ultimate database

Join the training and learn more about CINAHL Ultimate – a database designed for nursing students and nurses. This database currently contains instructional videos to help nursing students and nurses learn specific techniques and increase their knowledge of procedures and best practices in care. LitBase is a database of selected critical texts on literature. It supports research on the most studied authors, poetry, fiction, plays and non-fiction works worldwide. Take part in the training and learn in detail about the contents of the database and how to search its resources.
EDS Scientific Search for Beginners

A new version of the EBSCO Discovery Service scientific search engine for beginners. Training designed for institutions currently having trial access to the tool and universities starting a new EDS subscription. During the session, we will provide a general overview of the new search engine interface. Using several examples, we will show how the search engine works, how the new interface is built, how search results are displayed, how to refine the search using available limiters, how to use personalized options, how to search for terms in interactive word maps.

Students and university employees have access to EBSCO Open Dissertations™ – an international database of diploma theses and dissertations, as well as 16 extensive scientific databases reimbursed by the Ministry of Science and Higher Education. The Academic Search™ Ultimate and Business Source® Ultimate databases included in the package are among the most frequently used scientific resources in the world by leading academic centers.
