Interlibrary Loan
At the request of users, the Interlibrary Loan Service brings in library materials that are not available in the collections of the Medical University of Lublin Library:
- books, doctoral theses, habilitation theses are imported in their original form and can only be used on-site in the reading room
- the return deadline is determined by the lending library
- articles from magazines or fragments of publications are downloaded in the form of electronic files and sent to individual reader accounts.
The following persons are entitled to use the Interlibrary Loan:
- free of charge – employees, PhD students, Doctoral School participants and members of the UM student scientific groups
- for a fee (according to price list) – students of our University and other people

Interlibrary orders should be submitted via email to: cyfrowa@umlub.pl.
In your order, please provide precise bibliographic data of the items you are looking for and the ordering party's return data (name and surname, field of study/company/place of employment, e-mail address).
The Department’s employees also perform scans of photos, drawings, etc.
SUBMIT
In the field of interlibrary loans, the Main Library also cooperates with the Subito system.
SUBITO – an online service offering paid services in the field of delivering copies of ordered journal articles, book chapters or original materials (e.g. books) from the collections of German, Austrian and Swiss libraries. The system offers approximately one million journal titles representing various fields of science, including medicine and related sciences.
